Kandali Festival In Uttarakhand

Kandali, which is known as Nettle in English, is a leaning vegetable of the hybrid family in the mountainous region between the Nepal and the Himalayan region and the suburbs. It has medicinal properties, it can be eaten boiling. When the women belonging to the village tried to retract the soldiers, the same plants were destroyed and they were thrown out.The rituals that come in the festival are that women start cavalcade where they take swords with men and children who grow the plants grown during the period. Plants are taken back home in the form of Mars of War. With such a great history, a festival is incomplete without the spelling of folk music and dance, and therefore tribals perform special dance on the destruction of plants which bloom in every 12 years.With the passengers of the entire country, the local people of other villages go to make the festival even more extraordinary and to keep traditions and customs together for the coming age.
